According to the ultrasound today (images are shown below), all systems are go for baby Jones. She/he has now surpassed six centimeters, so her/his length is about the same as the width of my iPhone. If you click on the first image posted below and view the larger image size, you’ll see that she/he already seems to have Katie’s nose. Katie has been feeling fairly good lately except for some nagging allergies.
We’ve just begun deliberating about potential names for the child. There will be plenty of future debate, since Katie and I have only agreed on the family names that we’ve had in mind for awhile now. Speaking of family names, we’re probably going to let Robah keep his.

I remember seeing my first ultrasound. I was confused for about a half hour before the explanations finally entered my head!

I think the baby is adorable and you’re right, Andrew, the baby has Katie’s nose. He/she seems to be reaching up and saying “rock, rock, read book”.
I’m ready!!

I like Ada a lot — I think we’ll add that to the list.

Let’s don’t rule out Roy Dean yet, Or Sylvia Pat. How about Tyler Butch, or Anwtan Vince, or Jawad Rashad (nice ring to it!)

I’m just so thankful that Robah Bumpus has already been used!! It’s all right for a bloodhound mix and it fits our Robah so well. Ben still insists on calling the baby Jack Rabbit Jones!!

At least Dad isn’t on his Leroy kick! He’d name it Leroy. Robert has been on an ADA kick since before McKenna was born and I told him then that the ADA stands for American Dental Association! That won’t work. Take that off the list please!

Katie and Andrew–I am so excited for you. This website is a great way to keep everyone informed and I’m so glad Holly sent it to me. I know Janet and Ben are thrilled and will be wonderful grandparents. I look forward to your updates on the pregnancy.
